Genesis MD, Inc. (a California Professional Corporation), operating under the registered fictitious business name Genesis Sleep MD, Inc. (hereinafter referred to uniformly as “the Company” or “Genesis Sleep MD”)
Website: genesissleepmd.com
Effective Date: June 29, 2026
Version: 1.0
Last Updated: June 29, 2026
The Company is committed to ensuring that its digital properties are accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. This Accessibility Statement describes the Company’s conformance target, the accommodations the Company has implemented, the language and interpreter services the Company provides, and how to request assistance or report an accessibility barrier. This Statement is a persistent, un-gated document available from the footer of every page and does not require any login to read.
The Company is committed to providing a website and digital experience that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. The Company views digital accessibility as both a legal obligation and a core component of equitable access to sleep-health education and care. The Company works to build, monitor, and maintain its digital architecture so that people who use assistive technologies can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with the Company’s digital properties.
2. Conformance Target — WCAG 2.1 Level AA
The Company builds, tests, and maintains the Company’s digital properties with the goal of conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and the Company monitors evolving guidance, including WCAG 2.2, as it matures. WCAG 2.1 Level AA is organized around four principles — that content be Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust — and serves as the technical benchmark against which the Company measures and improves the Company’s digital properties.
2.1 Scope of This Commitment
This conformance commitment applies across the Company’s public-facing ecosystem, including:
(a) the public landing site at genesissleepmd.com and its associated landing pages and sales funnels;
(b) the Sleep Blocker Quiz interface;
(c) the masterclass and streaming/webinar configurations;
(d) the Tier 1 Foundations Program educational course platform; and
(e) all onboarding and intake pathways up to the secure data boundary of the Healthie EHR.
The authenticated clinical environment (the Healthie EHR and the integrated Zoom for Healthcare platform) is a third-party clinical platform; Section 8 describes the Company’s approach to accessibility within and at the boundary of that environment.
The Company designs and maintains the Company’s digital properties to align with the accessibility expectations of:
(a) Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which addresses access to places of public accommodation, including, as interpreted by courts within the Ninth Circuit, the digital properties of businesses such as health care providers; and
(b) the California Unruh Civil Rights Act (California Civil Code § 51 et seq.), which guarantees full and equal access to business establishments in California.
The Company proactively works to identify and remove barriers to assistive technology in order to support compliance with these state and federal public-accommodation requirements. This Statement, together with the Company’s barrier-reporting and remediation process in Section 7, is intended to provide users with a prompt, accessible avenue to obtain accommodation and to allow the Company to resolve accessibility issues directly and quickly.
The Company has implemented, and continues to refine, the following accommodations across the Company’s public digital properties.
4.1 Closed Captioning for Video Content
All multimedia video assets — including marketing webinars, sales and educational videos, the masterclass, and the pre-recorded Tier 1 CBT-I modules — are provided with synchronized closed captioning (CC).
4.2 Transcripts for Audio Content
Complete text transcripts are provided for audio-only guides, podcast-style elements, and similar audio content hosted on the Company’s domain.
4.3 Screen-Reader Compatibility
The Company’s pages are built using standardized semantic HTML5 and WAI-ARIA labeling — including accessible form-field labels and error states on the Sleep Blocker Quiz and booking forms — designed for compatibility with widely used screen readers, including NVDA, JAWS, and Apple VoiceOver.
4.4 Keyboard Navigation
Full keyboard operability is maintained globally, so that menus, forms, checkout controls, and interactive elements can be operated without reliance on a mouse or other pointing device, including visible focus indicators and a logical focus order.
4.5 Visual and Text Accommodations
The Company’s visual design adheres to color-contrast ratios consistent with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and supports browser-native text resizing without loss of content or functionality and without breaking layout boundaries.
5. Health Care Language Access (Section 1557 Benchmark)
Although Genesis Sleep MD operates as a private, cash-pay practice, the Company has elected to benchmark the Company’s language-access practices to the framework of Section 1557 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) as a baseline appropriate to California’s diverse population. Consistent with that benchmark, the Company provides Spanish-language access support for key public-facing and onboarding touchpoints, and the Company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate other language-access needs upon request. Requests for language assistance may be directed to the Accessibility Coordinator identified in Section 7.
For formal, authenticated clinical telehealth consultations conducted within the secure Healthie EHR / Zoom for Healthcare environment (the Tier 2 and Tier 3 clinical packages), certified sign-language interpretation services are available to patients upon advance request made during appointment scheduling. To ensure an interpreter can be arranged, please submit your request as far in advance of your scheduled encounter as reasonably possible. This clinical-encounter interpreter pathway is distinct from the general accommodation process in Section 7 and is coordinated through your clinical onboarding and scheduling.
7. Accessibility Coordinator, Barrier Reporting, and Resolution Commitment
If you experience any accessibility barrier or encounter a usability limitation while navigating the Company’s digital products, or if you need a reasonable accommodation, please contact the Company’s designated Accessibility Coordinator:
Designated Accessibility Coordinator: Jona
Email: [email protected]
Principal Business Address: Genesis MD, Inc., operating as Genesis Sleep MD, 510 Superior Avenue, Suite 200A, Newport Beach, California 92663
To help the Company assist you efficiently, please describe (a) the specific web page or URL where the barrier occurred, (b) the precise software component or function involved, and (c) the nature of the assistive technology you were using.
The Company commits to acknowledging all accommodation requests and reported barriers within one (1) business day, and to providing an accessible, barrier-free alternative or accommodation within forty-eight (48) hours of initial triage, or, where a complete technical remediation cannot reasonably be accomplished within that window, to providing an effective interim accommodation and a reasonable timeline for full remediation.
The contact information for the Accessibility Coordinator and the [email protected] channel is presented in accessible, machine-readable text (not embedded within an untagged image), so that it is fully available to assistive technology.
The accessibility of genesissleepmd.com relies on the following technologies working in combination with your browser and any assistive technologies you use: HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, and JavaScript. These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards described above.
Certain components embedded within or linked from the Company’s digital properties are operated by independent third parties and are outside the Company’s direct technical control. These include, without limitation, embedded payment fields and checkout components processed through the Company’s third-party payment gateway, the financing portals of independent third-party lenders CareCredit and Cherry, and embedded third-party video players. These third-party components — frequently delivered through an iframe or external redirect — may present accessibility parameters that the Company does not author or control.
While the Company cannot guarantee the accessibility of independent third-party components, the Company will make reasonable efforts to assist any user who encounters an accessibility barrier within such a component, including by providing an alternative method to complete the relevant task where feasible. If you encounter a barrier inside any third-party payment, financing, or video component, please contact the Accessibility Coordinator under Section 7 so that the Company can assist you and, where appropriate, raise the issue with the third-party vendor.
Consistent with the Company’s broader compliance architecture, the Company’s public, non-clinical educational and marketing environment is maintained separately from the Company’s secure, authenticated clinical environment (the Healthie EHR). This Statement addresses the accessibility of the Company’s public properties and, with respect to clinical encounters, the interpreter pathway in Section 6. Nothing in this Statement constitutes medical advice or the provision of clinical care, and no physician-patient relationship is formed by reading this Statement or using the public properties it describes.
The Company subjects the Company’s digital properties to ongoing accessibility assessment using recognized diagnostic toolsets, including axe DevTools and WAVE, supplemented by manual review. Prior to launch and on a continuing basis thereafter, the Company runs automated validation across high-traffic and high-stakes pages — including the Sleep Blocker Quiz pages and checkout fields — to identify and remediate issues such as missing element descriptions, labeling gaps, and contrast errors.
9.2 Accessibility Tooling and Overlays
The Company may utilize accessibility tooling and automated optimization features to support real-time accessibility across the Company’s public entry points. The Company recognizes that automated tools and overlays are an aid to, and not a substitute for, accessible design and human review, and the Company treats them as one component of a broader, ongoing accessibility program rather than as a complete solution.
9.3 Feedback Welcome
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and the Company welcomes your feedback. If any aspect of the Company’s digital properties is not accessible to you, or if you have suggestions for improvement, please contact the Accessibility Coordinator under Section 7. Your input helps the Company keep the Company’s platform structurally inclusive over time.
The Company may update this Accessibility Statement from time to time to reflect changes in the Company’s digital properties, the Company’s practices, applicable standards, or the law. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the most recent revision, and a versioned archive is available upon request.
